It was the 14th Annual...

JUNE 17-18, 2016
ROUTE 271, WATERFORD, JUST
5 MILES NORTH OF LIGONIER, PA

what an incredible weekend!

#14 was another memorable festival! The showers were gone by Friday morning and our fans were treated to a boatload of incredible bluegrass music and family fun with perfect weather. The music workshops with Joe Mullins and Jason Barie were excellent and well-attended, as were the dinners. Be sure to mark your calendar for #15, June 16-17, 2015!!

on stage...

Both the Friday evening and Saturday lineups were filled with top-notch national, regional and local bluegrass performers. GREAT music was provided by:

+ Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers -Award-winning Ohio band returns!
+ Big Country Bluegrass - Chart-topping band from Virginia debuts!
+ Jeanette Williams Band - Award-winning vocals and festival favorite!
+ The Martin Brothers - Fine traditional band from Maryland returns!
+ The Allegheny Drifters - Pittsburgh's very own vocal masters!
+ Brush Creek - Local favorites make their debut!
+ The Bluegrass Mountaineers - Traditional sounds from Ohio return!

Our ol' buddy John Trout, long-time host of WYEP-FM's "Traditional Ties" radio show, and Ligonier's Jeff Bell once again served as emcees, both keeping the show on schedule and adding that "certain something" to the festivities (whatever that may be). First class sound was provided by Don, Ginger, Steve and Jacob of Soaring Eagle Productions, Bedford, PA. (They get tons of compliments on the great sound from both the fans and performers.)

BIG THANKS FROM THE FIREMEN!

The festival benefits the Ligonier Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station #44. Their hard work, coupled with your support for them and the music, makes this a "win-win" for everybody. They deeply appreciate your attendance and your spreading the word about the festival.

The goal all along has been to make this an affordable, wholesome, family festival that provides a great bluegrass experience. Please support our sponsors who help make this possible.
