It WAS the 12th Annual...

JUNE 20-21, 2014
ROUTE 271, WATERFORD, JUST
5 MILES NORTH OF LIGONIER, PA

It Was Another Great One!

#12 was another memorable weekend! Despite some light showers Friday night and Saturday morning, our fans were treated to a boatload of incredible bluegrass music and family fun. The music workshops with Joe Mullins and Feller & Hill were excellent and well-attended, as were the dinners. Big thanks to Amy Clarke and the Stationary Ramblers for the fine dinner concert on Thursday evening. Be sure to mark your calendar for #13, June 19-20, 2015!

on stage...

As always, both the Friday evening and Saturday lineups were filled with top-notch national, regional and local bluegrass performers. GREAT music was provided by:

+ Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers - Fan-favorite Ohio band!
+ Feller & Hill & The Bluegrass Buckaroos - Amazing harmonies!
+ Rachel Burge & Blue Dawning - Hot new band from West Virginia!
+ Lonesome Meadow - Award-winning Ohio family band!
Mac Martin & The Dixie Travelers - Pittsburgh's very own master!
+ The Martin Brothers & Aspen Run - Traditional sounds from Maryland!
+ Border Ride - Entertaining band from Pa. and Ohio returned!

Our ol' buddy John Trout from WYEP-FM's "Traditional Ties" radio show and Ligonier's Jeff Bell once again served as emcees, both keeping the show on schedule and adding that "certain something" to the festivities. (Whatever that may be.) First class sound was provided by Don, Ginger, Steve and Jacob of Soaring Eagle Productions, Bedford, PA. (They got tons of compliments on the great sound from both the fans and performers.)

BIG THANKS FROM THE FIREMEN!

The festival benefits the Ligonier Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station #44. Their hard work, coupled with your support for them and the music, made this a "win-win" for everybody. They deeply appreciate your attendance and your spreading the word about the festival.

The goal all along has been to make this an affordable, wholesome, family festival that provides a great bluegrass experience. And please support our sponsors who help make this possible.
