    CAMPING

Unless this festival turns into a "Woodstock," there will be plenty of open, level, camping area available for campers, motor homes and tents. The camping area is convenient to the stage and the grounds will be open starting on Wednesday for those wanting to jam, socialize, and/or explore the nearby Laurel Highlands attractions. The grounds close Sunday evening. Sorry, no electric hookups; but fire rings and fire wood will be available. Handicap accessible parking and porta-johns are available.

Pets (under control) are welcome, but not in the concert area. Likewise, alcohol (under control) and smoking are permitted, but not in the concert area. Drugs and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This is a family festival and increased security will be present to keep it that way. Violators will be removed from the concert area and/or festival.

Plenty of "day parking" is also available for those who just wish to attend for a single day and not camp. The concert area, dining hall and porta-johns are handicap accessible.

Local lodging is also available from:

- Ligonier Country Inn, Rt. 30, Laughlintown (724) 238-3651
- Antiochian Village, Rt. 711, north of Ligoner (724) 238-3677
- Ramada Inn, Ligonier (724) 238-9545

    CRAFTS

The crafts and vendors show will run from noon to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st, adjacent to the concert area. Lots of quality vendors will be on hand with a variety of handcrafted items to browse and buy.

Craft vendors who would like to join the festivities can contact Mitzi Neiderhiser (724-238-8646) for an application and further details. Reserved spaces will be in multiples of 10'x10', with a June 13th reservation cutoff date.

    OTHER STUFF

Saturday's breakfast buffet will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.. As always, food and drinks will be available both Friday and Saturday. The Fabulous Firmen's Fish Dinner will be back on Thursday evening! It's available to both the festival campers and folks who want to check out the festival and get a taste of some "parking lot pickin'."

Bring your lawn chair or blanket to the concert area. The stage will be under cover and there'll be a few audience canopies in case of inclement weather. (But no rain is scheduled for that weekend, anyway.)

Most of the bands will be set up to sell CDs, T-shirts, and other wares and the firemen will have our "Fired Up For Bluegrass" t-shirts and sweatshirts available.

The firemen DO appreciate your support and hope this festival will continue for years to come. Comments, suggestions, questions and concerns are always welcome.
